Watford Borough Council provides a range of services to the Watford community, including community safety, parks and open spaces, housing and waste and recycling. The Council also organises events such as the Cassiobury Fireworks, the Big Screen and the Big Skate, as well as working with other organisations in providing entertainment such as the Imagine Festival.
Watford Borough Council has 36 councillors and an elected mayor, Peter Taylor, each of whom is elected for a four year term to represent the people of Watford.
