Watford Women Triumph over Billericay Town FC

Freda Ayisi, scored a hat trick on Sunday

Watford Women remain undefeated with a score of 5-0 against Billericay Town FC at their home grounds in Kings Langley this weekend.

Watford continued their winning streak in their game against Billericay Town FC, with a 5-0 score, played on Sunday the 21st of September. The teams were playing in the FA Women’s National League South.

The game began in a dynamic manner following a late afternoon kick off at Orbital Fastener’s Stadium, Watford’s home grounds. The first goal was scored just six minutes in by Isabella Fisher, after a header from Chandler. Soon after, another goal was scored by Freda Ayisi, shot low into the net, putting Watford two goals ahead.

Grey was brought on quickly following Ayisi’s goal, as a result of an injury faced by Kendell; not long after, Freda Ayisi scored her second goal of the game. As a result, Watford ended the first half with a score of 3-0 against Billericay Town FC.

After an eventful first half, the second half of the game began with only one change as Fisher was brought on to replace Haines. However, twelve minutes later Freda Ayisi got her third goal of the game by shooting the ball between the goalkeeper's legs, scoring an impressive hat trick.

Five minutes later, Walsh and Wilson were replaced by Fyfe and Rossiter respectively, and soon after, Anna Filbey scored Watford’s fifth and final goal of the game with a strong header taken from the corner.

Watford finished the game with an spectacular 5-0 score against Billericay Town FC, remaining undefeated at their home grounds in Kings Langley. Watford Women are due to travel to play Queens Park Rangers at their next away game at the Oliver Connell & Son Community Stadium on Sunday the 28th of September.
