Watford Fringe Festival to return for 10th anniversary this year

Watford Fringe Festival Performers Applications now open, as it will be returning on the 4th July, showcasing a number of local and international acts.

Watford Fringe Festival has announced it will be officially returning for it's 10 year anniversary, once again showcasing a number of extraordinary acts and talent, tailored for local audiences in Watford and visitors from all around the country and beyond. Performers Applications are now open on the website. 

The festival will officially kick off with a special launch event on the 4th July, with multiple venues already agreeing to take part, with many events taking place in the Watford Pump House, as well as the Watford Colosseum and the Watford Palace Theatre. It has grown from a small fixture of acts over two days to become a cultural phenomemon that attracts thousands. 

2025's festival remained to be the biggest turnout to date, with over 5,000 tickets being sold and 21 performance spaces- hosting a staggering 136 live shows. The festival reached a wide audience with an appearance from a musician from Channel 4's 'The Piano' and performers who had also taken to the stage at Glastonbury and Edinburgh Fringe. 

Watford Pump House Chairman, Lee Farman: 'When we first floated the idea of staging a performing acts Fringe festival here in Watford we had no idea that 10 years on it would have grown into the success it is today.'

Applications to perform at the festival have now opened on the Watford Fringe Festival website with no selection critieria, only urging applicants to apply before the end of May.
