Vibe 107.6 FM to Support Proud Watford with ‘Pride on Vibe’ This June

Vibe 107.6 FM is excited to announce its support for Proud Watford this June with a month-long on-air celebration of Watford’s LGBTQI+ community, titled ‘Pride on Vibe.’

Coinciding with National Pride Month, this special collaboration will showcase a series of weekly interviews highlighting the artistic events, entertainment, and community initiatives that define Proud Watford.

Each week in June, Vibe 107.6 FM will feature voices from across the local LGBTQ+ spectrum, including representatives from Proud Watford, Herts Pride, and Watford FC’s Proud Hornets, shining a spotlight on their vital work and the inclusive spirit of Watford.

Ian Port, Chair of Proud Watford, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership:

“Vibe 107.6’s connection with Watford is deep, vibrant and an excellent way for members of the local LGBTQ+ community to reach people who might not fully understand who we are, what we do and why breaking down prejudices is so important for the entire town.”

Speaking about the upcoming interviews, Ian added:

“Watford is such a diverse town and it’s great people representing not just Proud Watford, but also Herts Pride and Watford FC, will have the opportunity to talk on air about what we offer, not just in National Pride Month, but throughout the year.”

Ryan Thrussell, General Manager of Vibe 107.6 FM, said:
