Fresh, familiar and finales are the themes for this week, when it comes to the world of TV and film. You honestly won’t be able to stop starring at the screen due to my top five picks…

Britain’s Got Talent: The Semi Finals, 8pm, ITV One, Monday 29th May: The first of two finales airing tonight sees the contestants selected over the past few weeks battling it out. From comedians to magicians, there is some tough acts to choose from this year.

Succession Finale, 9pm, Sky Atlantic/NOWTV, Monday 29th May: Everyone has not stopped talking about Succession and tonight it comes to an end. Who will inherit their fathers business? Will it be one of your favourites? Get ready to be on the edge of your seat throughout.

The Gallows Pole, 9pm, BBC One, Wednesday 31st May: Fresh from Shane Meadows, this gripping new drama tells the story of how one of the biggest criminal enterprises came to be in the 18th century. Interesting from start to finish, the three parter will also be available to watch on BBC iPlayer after the first episode airs.

Changing Ends, 8am, ITVX, Thursday 1st June: Based on the autobiography of Alan Carr, this comedy sees just how the world famous comedian was raised during the 1980s. Full of light hearted laughs that will see us into the start of summer well, you will end up binging the whole series in one go.

Guy Ritchie’s The Covenant, 8am, Prime Video UK, Friday 2nd June: Guy Ritchie is back with a new film just in time for the weekend. Exclusive to Prime Video, not much has been announced about it, but when it comes to a Ritchie feature you can be sure everyone will be talking about it.
