As we prepare to say goodbye to the end of 2025, there are a lot of great programmes coming to our screens! Get ready to snuggle up or party hard with the following five shows to watch this week…
The Celebrity Apprentice: Christmas Special, 9pm, BBC One, Monday 29th/Tuesday 30th December: Two teams of celebrities are being put to the test by Lord Alan Sugar to make the ultimate Christmas biscuits. Once ready, the teams will have to try and sell as many as possible to raise money for charity. These specials were announced before a full series was also revealed, so it is a fun inside peek at what we can expect.
Ronan Keating And Friends: New Year’s Eve Party, 11:30pm, BBC One, Wednesday 31st December: Life is a rollercoaster and Ronan Keating and friends are going to be making sure that we enter 2026 on a high with this festive party! Shared in two halves, with the famous fireworks in between, you will be dancing around the room to this special.
The Great New Year Bake Off, 6:40pm, Channel Four, Thursday 1st December: While many of us may not feel like cooking after all the partying the night before, the famous faces from years gone by from GBBO are back and ready to be named the ultimate bakers. Grab the leftover biscuits, sweets and cakes for this one.
The Traitors, 8pm, BBC One, Thursday 1st December: We may all still be in Alan Carr awe, after his stint in the celebrity version of this hit show, however, it is time to meet the newest Faithfuls and Traitors to grace our screens. Who will be your favourite? You will have to watch and see. Though I am sure that we will all have a new Linda before we know it.
The Night Manager, 9:05pm, BBC One, Thursday 1st December: Tom Hiddleston is back in the role that we have all been longing for him to return to. Facing a new investigation and job role, this is the winter thriller that we all need to help us get through January. Also rejoining him is Olivia Colman, who is bringing some new faces into the mix with her. Get ready to sit on the edge of your seat!
