This week, I have gone for a bit of a mixture. Whether you like true crime documentaries, a big party or are a sporting fan, there is something for you to enjoy. Picking what to watch first will be the hardest part. Find out what I have chosen below:
Joe Lycett’s Big Pride Party, 9pm, Channel 4, Sunday 3rd July: Even though Pride month is over, we can still all celebrate it. We should celebrate it everyday of the week in fact. Ending the month long celebrations with a big party though is Joe Lycett, who is making sure we never forget the importance of celebrating who we are.
America The Beautiful, 8am, Disney Plus UK, Monday 4th July: In a new documentary series, film star Michael B.Jordan will be taking us on an epic journey through America, celebrating the incredible animals that live there.
UEFA Women’s Euro 2022, 7pm, BBC One, Wednesday 6th July: Wimbledon may be underway, but the sporting world is about to become very football focused. After a very intense Men’s Euros, the ladies are now about to take us on what I am certain will be an epic ride, as they take to the Euros 2022. Come on England!
Captive Audience: A Real American Horror Story, 8am, Disney Plus UK, Wednesday 6th July: Murder and mystery run throughout this true-crime series, looking into the shocking 1972 kidnapping case of seven-year-old Steven Stayner, which sparked “stranger danger” warnings, legal reforms and another TV show called `I Know My First Name Is Steven’. Crime fans will love this one.
Boo, Bitch, 8am, Netflix UK, Friday 8th July: Hauntings and ghouls may seem like more of an October delight, yet Halloween is coming early with this new Netflix original. Comedy and spooks join together to give us all an epic binge-watch this weekend.
Let us know what you have been watching and what you are most looking forward to catching over the course of the week, via our social media pages, as we would love to know!
