The Top Five Films and TV Shows to Watch this Week (29th September - 3rd October 2025)

Real life stories and actions are paving the way this week with my top five TV choices. You will be on the edge of your seat throughout all of these…

Big Brother, 9pm, ITV Two, Every Week Night and Sundays: Britain’s biggest social experiment is back for the next few weeks and already it is filled with more twists than you could imagine. It’s just what our 9pm TV slots needed to lock us in.

Blue Lights, 9pm, BBC One, Monday 29th September: The best police drama since Line of Duty is back. Filled with even more mysteries, you will be gripped from the moment it begins.

Chad Powers, 8am, Disney Plus UK, Tuesday 30th September: Unlike any comedy you may have seen before, this fantastic series follows an old football player trying to get back on the team. All whilst under disguise! If you love Ted Lasso, you will want to watch this.

Steve, 8am, Netflix UK, Friday 3rd October: Cillian Murphy is paving the way to another Oscar with this incredible performance. Playing a teacher in the 90s, it tackles both pupil and educators mental health issues in an absolutely mesmerising way.

Monster: The Ed Gein Story, 8am, Netflix UK, Friday 3rd October: Charlie Hunnam takes on the latest Monster based series, playing one of the most evil serial killers of all time. Spooky season has officially started.

Let us know what you have been watching and what you are most looking forward to catching over the course of the week, via our social media pages or in the comments below, as we would love to know!
