The Top Five Films and TV Shows to Watch this Week (22nd - 26th September 2025)

Romance, rivalry and a good old pint of Guinness are some of the themes making their way on to our screens this week. Don’t miss out on my five must-see features over the next few days…

Married At First Sight UK, 9pm, E4, Monday 22nd September: The team are back to help a new group of singletons looking for love. As everyone meets and marries their potential life long partner, the series adds in a few new twists and turns to keep us very entertained from the start.

Slow Horses, 8am, AppleTV+, Wednesday 24th September: One of the most highly acclaimed shows on TV is back. Join Gary Oldman and co, as they take on another dark crime affecting the city. One that will have you binge watching the whole series in one go.

The Hack, 9pm, ITV One, Wednesday 24th September: The phone hacking scandal is one of the horrendous crimes to have taken place in UK history. Now, the team behind Adolescence are presenting their take on what happened with David Tennant leading the cast. This is not one to be missed.

House Of Guinness, 8am, Netflix, Thursday 25th September: Stephen Knight, the creator of the fantastic Peaky Blinders is back. This time, he is taking on the most famous Irish family of all time. The Guinness family. Expect smoky walks, gripping thrills and edge of your seat shocks throughout. 

All Creatures Great And Small, 9pm, Channel Five, Thursday 25th September: The cosiest TV show is back to present us with all the autumn feels. Now that World War 2 is over, the family hope to be reunited to live out a calm life on the farm. However, when animals are near, this isn’t the case.
