We may have reached the end of the summer holiday, however, that doesn’t mean that we can’t still bring some sunshine into our lives. All through our TV screens. Don’t miss the following five wonders this week…

I Fought The Law, 9pm, ITV One, Monday 1st September: Sheridan Smith stars as a mother who is left fighting for justice after her daughter is murdered. Shown over four nights, this series will definitely be one that will be hitting award season next year.

The Great British Bake Off, 8pm, Channel Four, Tuesday 2nd September: The tent and bakers are ready to give us 12 weeks of pure baking goodness. Cake week kicks us all off and that means snacks are essential when watching.

Lilo & Stitch, 8am, Disney Plus UK, Wednesday 3rd September: Earlier this year, Disney released the highly successful live action version of this animated classic into cinemas. Now, it is coming to Disney Plus. The perfect family film to end the summer holidays with.

Stranded On Honeymoon Island, 9pm, BBC One, Wednesday 3rd September: 12 singletons will be joining host Davina McCall in hopes to find the one in this new series. After a speed dating session, couples are placed together and sent to live on a secluded island to see if they are truly compatible. MAFS will love this.

Mitchell And Webb Are Not Helping, 10pm, Channel Four, Friday 5th September: It’s been years since we have seen Robert Webb and David Mitchell on our screens. Lucky for us, they are back with a new sketch show type series. A great way to start the weekend.
