Nominate your local heroes for an Audentior Award 2017!

Every day there are people making positive contributions to the lives of others and achieving special things for Watford – now’s your chance to reward them.

The Audentior annual civic awards, now in their 14th year, are the Council’s way of rewarding townspeople who go above and beyond the call of duty; recognising those nominated as outstanding individuals, groups or businesses. The awards ceremony is a glittering celebration that takes place at Watford Colosseum and you can nominate someone by filling in a short form at Audentior Awards 2017 before the end of the day on Friday 7th July 2017.

Elected Mayor of Watford, Dorothy Thornhill, said: “These civic awards recognise hard work, dedication and personal achievement. Watford has countless people who regularly do wonderful things for the community – be it as a carer, volunteer, businessperson or sportsperson. These people speak volumes for Watford and have really put the town on the map. Help us to say thank you by nominating a person or group now.”

Watford Borough Council Chairman, Councillor Jagtar Singh Dhindsa, said: “I have been a councillor for 18 years, and I have lived in Watford for far longer than that. I have seen a tremendous amount of good work done by community-minded people in Watford to the benefit of the wider borough. They do it out of the goodness of their hearts, and it’s great that we can give something back to them through Audentior. Please nominate a worthy winner now for one of these fantastic awards.”
