Sunday Times Rich List ranks Anthony Joshua as the second wealthiest young sportsman in Britain
The second wealthiest young sports star in Britain according to this year’s Sunday Times Rich List, Watford-born world heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua was the only non-footballer to feature.
Ahead of Paul Pogba, Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane, AJ was behind only Gareth Bale on the list that ranked the wealthiest sports stars aged 30 and under.
The 30-year-old boxer’s value increasing from £58m to £107m, Joshua’s fellow Hertfordshire superstar, Formula One World Drivers Champion Lewis Hamilton, was revealed as Britain's wealthiest sports star by the publication.
Hamilton, who won a sixth world championship last year, is worth an estimated £224m. Not bad for a 35-year-old from Stevenage!
