For the NHS’s 77th birthday, Step up the stair climbing challenge is taking place on Saturday 5 July 2025 at Watford FC’s Vicarage Road Stadium
The Step Up challenge will ask participants to run, walk, or climb their way up and down the stands of the stadium. Participants can set personal goals or compete with friends with chip timing to help raise money for Watford FC’s Community Sports and Education Trust and West Herts Hospitals Charity.
The event is for all age groups with both a full route and half route available. Adults (18 years and over) have a £15 registration fee and Young people (6–18 years) have a £5 registration fee
Watford FC's Community Sports and Education Trust Community Director, Rob Smith, said: "Following previous years' success, we are pleased to once again be partnering with West Herts Hospital Charity for Step Up 2025. We share a community, and both have a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of local people; through this event, supporters of ours can now help us continue that work.”
This will be a great opportunity to help your own personal health goals all while contributing to our hardworking NHS.
Watford Market’s popular family-friendly ‘Market Lates’ series is back for another exciting year – and 2025 promises to be bigger and better, with each event bringing its own unique theme and activities to the heart of the town centre.
