Films, thrills and family are the theme this week with my top five picks. Working towards an epic weekend binge will be easy at the start of the week. Especially with a new thriller to enjoy:
The Control Room, 9pm, BBC One, Sunday 17th July: Carrying on tomorrow night, this new thriller from the BBC is sure to get everyone talking. Following an emergency control room, the tension is going to be high from the get go, so make sure to pay attention.
Unvaccinated, 9pm, BBC Two, Wednesday 20th July: Wonder why some people decided to not have their Covid jabs? This new documentary explores their choices and the options they had when making it.
Anything’s Possible, 8am, Prime Video UK, Friday 22nd July: The first of three new films this week, Prime Video have made an LGBT+ feature that will affect your head, heart and whole being in fact with this sweet coming of age feature.
The Gray Man, 8am, Netflix UK, Friday 22nd July: Starring Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans, this new dark thriller had a Blade Runner look to it. With not much revealed about the plot, it is going to be the mystery film to binge this weekend.
Moana Sing-Along, 8am, Disney Plus UK, Friday 22nd July: Who doesn’t love a Disney sing-along? If you are looking for some family fun this weekend, than Disney Plus UK have delivered with a sing-along version of this much-loved animation.
