Major engineering work will close Euston station this bank holiday and the first weekend of September, which will affect all lines between London Euston and Watford Junction.
National Rail are carrying out major rail updates and projects over the bank holiday weekend, suspending all services to and from London Euston.
Traditionally, less people use the station on bank holiday weekends, which is why it is considered the best time to make essential improvements. Travellers are advised to seek alternative transport between Saturday 25th to Monday 27th August.
The following weekend will also be affected by engineering work. From Saturday 1st September to Sunday 2nd, no trains will be running from London Euston. With no London Overground service from Watford Junction to Euston, a replacement bus service will be running between Queens Park, Harrow and Wealdstone and Watford Junction. Watford Underground Station is another alternative, with regular Metropolitan Line services to Central London.
