Get ready to climb high and laugh even higher – The Panto is back at Watford Palace Theatre!
Join young Jack, a brave and curious hero, as he trades his beloved cow for a handful of magic beans – and before you know it, he’s scaling a towering beanstalk into a sky full of festive fun! Along the way, Jack must outwit the greedy Giant, navigate the antics of a delightfully clumsy Fairy, and confront the fearsome (and fabulously villainous) Dame Judi Henchman. Bursting with adventure, mischief, and heart, this classic tale is the perfect Christmas treat for the whole family.
This spectacular new production features the booming voice of national treasure Stephen Fry as the blustering Giant, alongside a dazzling cast of larger-than-life characters who will bring laughter, magic, and festive cheer to every corner of the stage.
Directed by James Williams, Associate Director of Watford Palace Theatre, this year’s panto blends high-energy fun with a strong community spirit. Featuring a talented Young Ensemble of 16 performers aged 11-17 from across Watford and beyond, audiences can expect enchanted beans, mischievous animals, kidnapped villagers, and plenty of bean-related mayhem – all wrapped up in a twinkling holiday atmosphere!
