Tweeting and putting on Facebook yesterday “Please DO NOT attend Watford General’s emergency department until further notice, even in an emergency,” today everything went back to normal
West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust, which runs Watford General Hospital, announced yesterday that its A&E department was closed to new patients because of a "technical issue with its oxygen equipment."
Tweeting and putting on Facebook yesterday “Please DO NOT attend Watford General’s emergency department until further notice, even in an emergency,” today everything went back to normal.
The critical incident stood down, according to the hospital issues “have been resolved.” For most of Saturday, all patients except for pregnant women were turned away.
Although a number that regularly changes, there are currently 692 people who, across Hertfordshire, have tested positive for Covid-19.
In order to prevent more people contracting the Coronavirus locally, both the Rickmansworth Aquadrome and Cassiobury Park car parks have now been closed.
