Top TV Shows and Films To Watch This Week (14th - 18th March 2022)

From sporting stars to remakes of classic childhood stories; the world of TV and film are keeping us all gripped. It’s time to forget the rain and enjoy my top five for the week, which you can find below:

Tom Daly’s Hell of a Homecoming, 9pm, BBC One, Monday 14th March: Tom Daly is a national treasure. In and out of the pool. This new documentary shows what it takes to be a sporting superstar and some of the hardships he has faced along the way.

The Drop, 9pm, BBC Three, Monday 14th March: We all love a reality TV show and this new one sees the search for the next big high street brand. With designers from all over the country taking part, it is going to be an interesting look into the fashion world. A well-dressed one at that.

Is It Cake?, 8am, Netflix UK, Friday 18th March: Tik Tok has taken over how we consume videos. This new series sees bakers and creators try to recreate recipes from the famous platform. Whether they all work or not is yet to be seen, though I’m sure we will all be gripped by it.

Fresh, 8am, Disney Plus UK, Friday 18th March: An original feature film for adults starring Sebastian Stan, this dark comedy romance is perfect viewing for a Friday night. Not one for the whole family, this is a new direction for our beloved Disney. A fun one at that.

Cheaper By The Dozen, 8am, Disney Plus UK, Friday 18th March: Who remembers the classic 00s film starring Steve Martin? Well, 2022 is seeing the story be brought back to life with a new look and cast. This is definitely a Disney feature for the whole family to enjoy this weekend!

Let us know what you have been watching and what you are most looking forward to catching over the course of the week, via our social media pages, as we would love to know!
