The Top TV Shows and Films to Watch this Week (19th - 23rd June 2023)

Dance the week away from today, because the world of TV and film have got some huge floor or screen fillers for us to enjoy. Check out my top five features that you simply can’t miss…

Dr Death, 10pm, Channel 4, Tuesday 20th June: After a hugely successful run in the US, the brilliant Dr Death is coming to the UK. Sure to grip us all in, the series follows one doctor and his deadly acts of sin whilst in the operating room.

Secret Invasion, 8am, Disney Plus UK, Wednesday 21st June: Marvel have been focusing a lot on turning their big screen stars into small screen superheroes. Now it is the turn of the big guy! Nick Fury leads the way in this original series, as he assembles his team together to tackle some out of this world figures.

The Change, 10pm, Channel 4, Wednesday 21st June: Channel 4 have been working hard to showcase the truth behind the menopause. Including this new comedy, which follows one woman coming to terms with the changes her body and mind are going through during the process. Funny but factual!

And Just Like That…, 9pm, Sky Showcase/Comedy, Thursday 22nd June: Back for a second series, the SATC crew are returning for even more bedroom antics. And they are not alone. With Samantha coming back for a sneaky cameo and Aidan being a potential love interest for Carrie, there is going to be a lot of talk around it.

Glastonbury, All Day, BBC Two/iPlayer, Friday 23rd June: Is there anything more magical than seeing the stars on stage at the best festival in the world? With Arctic Monkeys, Elton John and many more announced to perform, it’s time to turn the TV up and dance your weekend away.

Let us know what you have been watching and what you are most looking forward to catching over the course of the week, via our social media pages, as we would love to know!
