The Top Five TV Shows and Films To Watch This Week (24th - 28th July 2023)

Dinner, drama and demons are the themes for this week. However, don’t worry, they are all explored in very comedic ways. My top five must-watch picks are exactly what you need to make it through the end of July and into August…

Futurama, 8am, Disney Plus UK, Monday 24th July: After 10 years, the hit animation is back and with all the familiar faces too! Get ready to head off into the future for mishaps, laughs and nostalgia at its best.

You Hurt My Feelings, 8am, Prime Video UK, Tuesday 25th July: When a famous novelist hears her husband giving an honest review of her latest book, she finds herself wondering if she can truly trust him anymore. Dark, comedic and very honest, it’s a dramatic feature that will keep you entertained.

Drag Me To Dinner, 8am, Disney Plus UK, Wednesday 26th July: Okay, so this is just the show we all need on a Wednesday morning! Two teams made up of drag queens must fight to host the ultimate dinner party. Led by Neil Patrick Harris, mayhem is definitely going to occur in the most perfect way.

The Witcher (Series Three - Volume Two), 8am, Netflix UK, Thursday 27th July: Starring Henry Cavill for the last time, the newest episodes from series three pick up right where we left off. It’s definitely going to be interesting to see how Liam Hemsworth takes over that incredible wig.

Good Omens (Series Two), 8am, Prime Video UK, Friday 28th July: David Tennant and Michael Sheen are one of the best TV pairings in recent times. Returning as their angelic and evil characters, be prepared to laugh your way through your weekend, with this mixture of fantasy and comedy.
