Small Things Like These, 8am, Netflix UK, Tuesday 28th April: This film passed many by, yet, it was a huge award winner in Ireland. Starring Cillian Murphy in his first performance after winning the Oscar, his portrayal of a man determined to help the women he meets is career defining. It is a beautiful dedication to one of the saddest parts of Irish history.
Half Man, 10:40pm, BBC One, Tuesday 28th April: From the team behind Baby Reindeer, this new gritty series portrays two childhood friends coming back together at difficult times in their lives. With one facing a challenging battle with their sexuality and the other trying to stay out of trouble, each scene is gripping. This has award winner all over it.
Man On Fire, 8am, Netflix UK, Thursday 30th April: Battling the demons from his past, a secret agent must put them behind them to successfully save a young girl he meets in Rio De Janeiro. Perfect to binge watch on, as you won’t be able to stop watching once you see the first episode.
Wuthering Heights, 8:25am, Sky Cinema Premiere, Friday 1st May: Now is your chance to capture the film that got everyone talking at the start of the year from the comfort of your own home. Starring Jacob Elordi, as the dark Heathcliff, and Margot Robbie, as the eccentric Cathy, it is a totally new take on the classic Bronte novel that will shock you throughout.
