The Top Five Shows To Watch This Week (16th - 20th August 2021)

Good Morning All! The world of TV and film is alive this week, with loads of new features and series to binge on. From fresh creations on our streaming services to reality wonders, there is something for everyone. The hardest decision will be deciding which one to watch first, from my top five below:

Cooking With The Stars, 9pm, ITV, Tuesday 17th August: After six weeks and many mixed reviews, the finale of this cooking show has landed. Who will win the ultimate cooking stardom? We will have to tune in to find out.

Changing Rooms, 8pm, Channel 4, Wednesday 18th August: Years have passed, but we all still remember the highs and the lows of this makeover show. Especially the now dodgy room changes that took place. Making an epic comeback, with some familiar faces, the show is redeeming itself now. Transporting us back in time with a futuristic look, this is the perfect way to end your Wednesday.

Joe Lycett’s Got Your Back, 8pm, Channel 4, Thursday 19th August: Full to the brim with helpful money and consumer saving hacks, Joe Lycett, his celebrity guests and fellow panelist’s are on hand to help us all. Going in depth to find us the answers we need, all in a comedic fashion, Joe will be helping us all by preventing us from getting conned by those who should know better.

Growing Up Animal, 8am, Disney Plus, Friday 20th August: Who doesn’t love cute baby animals? In this National Geographic series, the creators take us into the world of some of the worlds most fascinating animals, to show the bonds between mothers and their young. With many loving and others not so much, it is interesting to see how we all differ. Although, I have to admit, the main reason to watch this is the cute animals.

The Chair, 8am, Netflix, Friday 20th August: Sandra Oh returns in this brand new series about the chair of an English depart at a major university. Sure to be gripping but also fun, this seems like it may fill the hole that Scandal left behind. Plus, with Oh featuring, you know you are in for a real treat.

Let us know what you have been watching and what you are most looking forward to catching over the course of the week, via our social media pages, as we would love to know!
