The Top Five Shows and Films To Watch This Week (3rd - 7th October 2022)

There are spooks, discussions and food for thought this week within my top five picks. From new films to new series, you will not want to miss these features, as I’m certain everyone will be talking about them.

The Ranganation, 10pm, BBC Two, Sunday 2nd October: Back with even more topical conversations, Romesh Raganathan will be putting his audience and panel to the test. Expect lots of laughs and arguments.

The Walk In, 9pm, ITV, Monday 3rd October:  Stephen Graham takes the lead in this new series, playing activist Matthew Collins, a reformed Neo-Nazi. Now working as a journalist, for the anti-racist organisation, Hope not Hate, he sees his ways being challenged by the world around him.

Nailed It (Halloween Special), 8am, Netflix UK, Wednesday 5th October: Who doesn’t love a baking show? Back for a new series, which focuses on Halloween, it is the perfect family fun series to start the spooky season.

The Bear, 8am, Disney Plus UK, Wednesday 5th October: When a world-famous chef returns home to run his family’s restaurant, he is faced with elements of the cooking world he didn’t realise existed. With an all-star cast, this is sure to be a hit.

Catherine Called Birdy, 8am, Prime Video UK, Friday 7th October: Created by Lena Dunham, this medieval tale tells of one daughters fight against her parents, who wish to marry her off. A game changer for period based films.
