The Cassiobury Fireworks return on Saturday 4th November!

Hosted by Vibe 107.6 FM, the annual Cassiobury Fireworks will take place on Saturday 4th November with local band, Katie Plus Juan performing live!

The event is free of charge and is organised and funded by Watford Borough Council with the support of the Watford Lions, who arrange the charity collection.  Your very own Vibe 107.6 FM will be hosting the stage with presenters, Lee Partridge and Laurie Charlesworth compering the event. So join us at Cassiobury Park for a great evening of fabulous night of fireworks and fun!

 

On stage entertainment will start at 6.00pm, with live performances from Katie plus Juan and their band at 6.30pm and again at 7.05pm.  The enormous bonfire will be lit at 7pm, with a fantastic 20 minute firework display starting at 7.30pm but to make sure you don’t miss a whizz or a bang, people are advised to get to the park at least 15 minutes before they are due to start. This year's stage sponsors are intu Watford, Palmers Motor Company and Mint Indian Takeaway.

 

Katie Plus Juan are a popular songwriting duo from Hertfordshire and London. Backed by their fantastic band, they will be performing songs from their new album ‘Tom’s Garden’ along with some brand new tracks from their upcoming EP. Expect a big, sizzling pot of soul, pop, blues, latin, and country with powerful harmonies and strong melodies. This is their first appearance, as Katie Plus Juan, at the Cassiobury Fireworks and they are so excited to showcase some great original music, along with some popular covers to boot. The album ‘Tom’s Garden’ will be available to buy on the night for £12.

Crowds can also take advantage of the variety of food and drink outlets, kiddies funfair rides and bungee trampolines, which will be on offer throughout the evening.

 

To keep everyone safe no sparklers, fireworks or alcohol are allowed in the park.

 

Getting to the park: There is NO PARKING in the Gade Avenue car park from 3.00pm, apart from a limited number of blue badge spaces, which are available on a first come first served basis.  There are also parking restrictions on surrounding roads to the park from 7.00am to 11.00pm, so you are advised to park in one of the public car parks in the town centre.

There is limited car parking available at Fullerians Rugby club charged at £5 a car.
