Golfers are invited to a charity golf day to raise funds for Carers in Hertfordshire.
The golf day will be at The Hertsmere in Elstree on Saturday 29 June, 9am – 3pm, with tee off from 10am.
After a light breakfast, golfers will set off in groups of four to play 18 holes. There will be prizes for the longest drive, nearest the pin, and hole in one.
Tickets are £55 each. £15 from this will go towards ensuring that local child and adult carers that provide unpaid care to someone close to them who is ill, disabled, elderly or misuses substances, are identified, informed, supported and heard.
A spokesperson for Carers in Hertfordshire said: “We are looking for keen golfers to pitch in and get tickets to the event, to show their support for unpaid family and friend carers across Hertfordshire. Proceeds will go to providing free services to carers such as a helpline, mentoring, support groups, workshops and events, and more.”
If you want to join the golf, fundraise for, or support Carers in Hertfordshire, email fundraising@carersinherts.org.uk or call 01992 586 969. Find out more about the charity at www.carersinherts.org.uk
