The Best Prince Songs He Never Sang
Written By Nathan Caselton
Prince wrote the song "Manic Monday," but it was the tune that helped make The Bangles a household name in the mid 1980s. It appeared on the album "Different Light." Sinead O'Connor’s most famous song, "Nothing Compares 2 U," was also penned by Prince in 1990. It appeared on the album "I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got." It won five awards including Billboard Music Award for Number 1 World Single and MTV Video Music Award for Video of the Year in 1990. Stevie Nicks had some powerful help when she broke away from Fleetwood Mac and embarked on her solo career in 1983. Prince teamed up with Nicks to co-write "Stand Back." Prince and Shelia E. co-wrote "The Glamorous Life," the song that made the female drummer a household name in the '80s, Rolling Stone reported. MC Hammer was blessed with a Prince song for his follow-up single after "Can't Touch This." Prince gave him "Pray" for his second single. Rest In Peace. "Manic Monday"
