A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of murder after another teenager was stabbed to death near a park.
Police were called to the Mabley Green area of Homerton, Hackney, east London, just after 7pm on Monday after a fight broke out.
When officers arrived, they found a 15-year-old boy had suffered stab wounds in Poplar Close.
Paramedics treated him at the scene, but he was pronounced dead.
On Friday, the Metropolitan Police named the victim as Brayan Saldarriaga, from Haringey, north London, and said a 16-year-old boy had been arrested on suspicion of murder.
