The Top TV Shows And Films To Watch On This Week (30th March - 3rd April 2026)

The next five days of TV is definitely bringing with it a whole host of drama, tension and a little hint of romance with it! Here are my top five picks to watch this week...

Babies, 9pm, BBC One, Monday 30th March: The first of its kind from the BBC, this tragic series follows one couple's battle to have children, after a series of heartbreaking miscarriages. This emotional rollercoaster is a gripping watch that mixes moments of lightheartedness with sorrow. It has award winner all over it.

The Teacher, 9pm, Channel Five, Monday 30th March (All Week): Playing out over the course of the week, the show follows one teacher as she comes to terms with the way her pupils now think. After failing to understand what being woke means, she is soon taught that things are different to how they used to be in the world of teaching. Definitely one to make you think whilst watching.

The Burb’s, 9pm, Sky One, Wednesday 1st April: Once a box office smash, the newest take on The Burb’s stars Jack Whitehall, as he finds that his new neighbours may not be all that they seem. Full of entertaining spooks, this is the perfect thing to watch after a day of April Fools jokes.

XO Kitty (Series Three), 8am, Netflix UK, Thursday 2nd April: The third and final series, which is based on the best-selling books arrives this week, as Kitty finds out if true love really does run deep. Full of teen angst and sweet moments, the show's teaser has got us all excited as Kitty’s big sister returns to help her.

Race Across The World, 9pm, BBC One, Thursday 2nd April: Heading to Sicily to start their mission, the teams are faced with some of the toughest challenges the show has ever created in the new series. Faced with living off of only £23 a day, tensions start to rise from the moment the challenge begins leading to a lot of edge of your seat viewing.
