Mary At 90: A Lifetime Of Cooking, 7:30pm, BBC Two, Tuesday 28th October: Having taught so many of us how to cook and bake, Dame Mary Berry is taking the time before her upcoming birthday to celebrate some of her greatest moments. Marking the occasion with new clips too, she is joined by some very famous faces to host the ultimate party.
Down Cemetery Road, 8am, AppleTV+ UK, Wednesday 29th October: Emma Thompson leads the cast in this new thriller from the creators of Slow Horses. When a young child goes missing, Thompson’s character is brought in to try and find her. However, what she and the team uncover leads to even more horrors being unveiled. Gripping from start to finish.
Hedda, 8am, Prime Video UK, Wednesday 29th October: Based on the best-selling book, Tessa Thompson takes on the role of Hedda in this feature film. Playing a woman who faces an unhappy marriage, the management of a home to grand for her and the return of an ex-lover all in one night, Thompson gives a powerful performance throughout.
The Witcher (Series Four), 8am, Netflix UK, Thursday 30th October: Henry Cavill may no longer be leading the cast but his replacement, Liam Hemsworth, is perfect within the role. If you prefer fantasy series compared to full on scares, this is definitely binge worthy material to enjoy over the Halloween weekend.
