Samantha Vangeen
Sam Vangeen is a very experienced presenter, starting as a volunteer on the British Forces Broadcasting station in Belize, Central America in 1999. During the year she spent there, she fell in love with talking to soldiers on air. When Sam came back to the UK she applied to every radio station in the UK and was offered a job in Bournemouth where she quickly became a firm favourite in the area.
After spending a few years of working in different radio stations up and down the country, Sam helped launch a new radio station in Reading at the Madejski Stadium, home of the Royals football team and London Irish rugby. Her next move was to Gaydar Radio where she helped her team win a Gold Sony Award for Digital Station of the Year in 2006.
In 2008, Sam became a breakfast co-host presenter for Heart Radio in Colchester Essex. After deciding to move back home to be near her family, she joined the team here at Vibe 107.6 FM as our talk show presenter.
