Watford will host an amazing new two day open air music festival in Summer 2017, bringing together an exciting range of entertainment.
The festival – known as Watfest – will run on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th August 2017 in the town’s fantastic Cassiobury Park and will be the largest open air event in Hertfordshire next year. It will include some of the country’s top bands and artists and a range of attractions for all the family.
Three music stages featuring over 30 live acts will be at the heart of the event with performances from both well established and emerging bands throughout the two days. There will also be lots on offer for younger festival goers with a dedicated kidzone, live art and fun fair. Food and drink lovers won’t not miss out with a wide variety of street foods and bars to choose from – whether your taste is for real ale or cocktails!
Cassiobury Park is an ideal venue for a festival as Watford is well served by public transport and the town centre is just a 10 minute walk away. Watford already has a great reputation for entertainment and Watfest will bring a new flavour to what is on offer in the town over the summer.
A terrific feature of the festival is that it will showcase local talent. Any aspiring bands or performers are being encouraged to get in touch with the organisers to stake their claim to a spot on the main stage.
The team behind Watfest are very experienced in managing big events and so bring a wealth of knowledge to the festival – including how to make sure everyone has a great time and leaves looking forward to next year.
Watch out for more details over the next few months, including the acts who will be performing and how to book your tickets. For further information please visit Watfest.
