As the British public stay at home in order to save lives, Watford Museum, Watford Borough Council and JamPondPhotography have collaborated in trying to capture some of the ‘faces of the lockdown’.
Professionally photographing Watford residents whilst living through the COVID-19 pandemic, the project organisers will create a visual record that will become part of Watford’s history.
Photographs will be taken of people standing in their doorways either at home or at work and participants will receive a digital copy of the photo as a gesture of thanks.
Images will also form part of an exhibition that will take place later in the year at the Watford Museum. An archive will then be created in order to help remember what Watford at home looked like during Lockdown 2020.
