Get ready to reach for the stars, as love is well and truly in the air this week. Whether it be in the superhero world or a familiar island in Spain, the world is ready for summer to begin and our TV screens know about it. With many making up my top five picks this week:
Love Island, 9pm, ITV2, Monday 6th June: Finally, summer can begin, with the island that we all spend our evenings binge watching returning. With 11 new faces taking to the villa in the hopes to find love, there is sure to be drama, dates and disasters galore. Bring it on!
Cooking With The Stars, 8pm, ITV, Tuesday 7th June: Whilst lots will be falling in love with the return of Love Island, others will be glad to see this star-studded cooking competition come back. Putting their skills to the test, the heat will be rising as celebrities try to be crowned the ultimate cook of the M&S sponsored kitchen.
Ms Marvel, 8am, Disney Plus UK, Wednesday 8th June: With Marvel reigning on Disney Plus UK, a new series is being dropped. Joining the wonders of Captain Marvel, Ms Marvel sees a new hero being born. Catch all the latest action from today, as the latest star shines.
Hustle, 8am, Netflix UK, Wednesday 8th June: Starring Adam Sandler, this new feature from Netflix is the perfect film to binge this week. When an unlucky basketball scout finds a new superstar in Spain, he sets out to make sure they get into the NBA. The comedy will help those hump day blues disappear instantly.
My Fake Boyfriend, 8am, Prime Video UK, Friday 10th June: Actors, Dylan Sprouse and Sarah Hyland, are being joined by Keiynan Lonsdale, to tell the feature film version of this best-selling book. Unable to leave behind the boyfriend who dumped him, Andrew (Lonsdale) and his friends decide to help him by making a fake boyfriend online. Problems soon erupt and madness begins. Fun for all to enjoy over the weekend.
