There is a new world of TV and film coming your way this week, as we get ready to hibernate. With the big bangs of fireworks remaining, we have a whole host of shows and features that are going to hook you in like the sparkles we have just seen. Find my top five below:

Dexter: New Blood, 10pm, Sky Atlantic, Monday 8th November: After years of yearning, fans are finally getting what they have always wanted. Dexter is finally back, causing more mayhem. Be prepared for lots of gore.

Animal, 8am, Netflix, Wednesday 10th November: Celebrities are lending their voices in this new series, as they give cute animals a chance to have their say. One for the whole family.

Love Never Lies, 8am, Netflix, Thursday 11th November: Is the lie detector test on Love Island one of your favourite things about it? Netflix have listened to your needs then! Love Never Lies sees six couples subjected to one, in this new reality show where lies cost them their prize money, and the truth the ultimate cash prize.

Beer Masters, 8am, Amazon Prime Video, Thursday 11th November: What do you first think of when you hear the name James Blunt? Infamous songs? His comedic Twitter? A beer show? Well, the last one may not have been what you did think, but it will be from Thursday, as he fronts Amazon’s new competition series looking for the greatest beer master.

Lioness: The Nicola Adams Story, 8am, Amazon Prime Video, Friday 12th November: For years, Nicola Adams has been sharing with us her boxing expertise. Yet, this new documentary allows for us to see how she got to where she is today and the challenges she has faced. Whether you are a sporting fan or not, you will be amazed by what you see.
