Hello! And welcome to a new week of TV. It all seems that the world of entertainment is leading us up to the weekend, with many releases coming out on Friday. The same day as Adele’s new single, Easy On Me, is due to be released. However, unlike her, they TV world isn’t going easy on us, with some very emotional picks this week. Find out what they are below:
Scenes From A Marriage, 9pm, Sky Atlantic, Monday 11th October: Starring Jessica Chastain and Oscar Isaac, this new series follows a married couple as they deal with the emotional elements that led to them coming together, separating and more. Raw and hard hitting, this is sure to be an awards contender.
Shop Well For The Planet, 8pm, BBC One, Thursday 14th October: We all want to do our bit to help the planet. This four part feature will help us do just that. As families come together to find out how they can save not only money, but the world, with more economical spending habits. Watch and take note.
You, 8am, Netflix, Friday 15th October: The first of two spine-tingling series that are coming out today, Netflix are giving us a third outing with this stalker hit. Joe is back and ready to have us all hiding from the world. This time though he appears to have taken on a new role as a dad.
I Know What You Did Last Summer, 8am, Amazon Prime Video, Friday 15th October: Based on the best-selling book and the classic 90s film, this new series will have you seriously spooked in the most haunted month of the year! Follow a bunch of teenagers, as the horrific act that they were all involved in comes back from the dead.
Stand Up To Cancer, 7:30pm, Channel 4, Friday 15th October: One of the biggest nights on TV, the stars are joining forces to help beat cancer. With special editions of Gogglebox, The Last Leg and more, this fundraising event is going to be an emotional yet brilliant night for all watching or taking part.
