The Top TV Shows and Films To Watch This Week (Monday 22nd - Friday 26th August 2022)

All of this week, the world of TV and film, is allowing us to go behind the scenes of some amazing places. From the OC to Wrexham, the journeys that take place in them are wild, but definitely must see. Find out my top five picks below:

The Hotel People, 8pm, BBC Two, Tuesday 23rd August: Love taking a look around places that you wouldn’t normally get a chance to see inside? The doors of this famous Irish hotel chain are doing just that over the next few weeks. Be prepared for wild guests, requests and inside exclusives.

Welcome To Wrexham, 8am, Disney Plus UK, Wednesday 24th August: When Ryan Reynolds announced that he was buying a football club not many people were expecting it. Especially within the UK. Explaining why he did, along with his co-owner, this series gives an eye-opening look at what it takes to run a football club.

Selling The OC, 8am, Netflix UK, Wednesday 24th August: After the incredible success of Selling Sunset, Netflix have commissioned a new series looking at how the team based in the OC run. From the same company, the new faces are sure to rival those that we know. Expect even more drama under the sun.

Me Time, 8am, Netflix UK, Friday 26th August: Setting us up for a fun Friday night, this new comedy from Kevin Hart and Mark Wahlberg is certain to have us all laughing. Grab the popcorn and snuggle up.

Samaritan, 8am, Prime Video UK, Friday 26th August: When a superhero goes missing, one of his biggest fans goes looking for him. What he discovers though is definitely not what he was expecting. Find out what that is on Friday.

Let us know what you have been watching and what you are most looking forward to catching over the course of the week, via our social media pages, as we would love to know!
