Chills, thrills and creatures galore! It’s time to settle in and embrace the best TV season of the year with these five films and shows. You simply cannot miss these features this week…

Boiling Point, 9pm, BBC One, Sunday 1st October: Set weeks after the feature length film, the cast returns to tell this kitchen based drama. Prepare to be on the edge of your seat with the intense kitchen action being endlessly thrilling.

Haunted Mansion, 8am, Disney Plus UK, Wednesday 4th October: Remakes can be tricky to view. However, this new take on the classic Eddie Murphy feature is fantastic. With an incredible cast, this feature is perfect at capturing the story that the Disney ride is based on. In some ways it is better than the Murphy film.

All Creatures Great and Small (Series Four), 9pm, Channel Five, Thursday 5th October: Back for a fourth outing, the famous fictional vets are back to bring a cosy feeling to a Thursday night. Get ready to see all the farming action from this smash hit.

Loki (Series Two), 8am, Disney Plus UK, Friday 6th October: Tom Hiddleston is returning for another series as the amazing villain Loki. Someone we love to watch, even when he is at his most evil, the new six episode series will hopefully bring some closure to all the unanswered questions the last ones left.

Totally Killer, 8am, Prime Video UK, Friday 6th October: With spooky season now in full swing, Prime Video UK are bringing us the first horror film from streaming series of the season. Be prepared to be scared!
