Many of us love to delve into the world of reality TV, so it brings me a lot of joy to announce that our screens will be filled with it this week. Don’t worry though if you aren’t a fan, there is also the option to blast into space too. It’s time to take your pick…

Love Island: The Final, 9pm, ITV2, Monday 1st August: After eight weeks, the final is finally here. Which couple will win the prize money and the love of their lives? The choice is in the hands of the viewers, making it unmissable TV goodness.

Vicky Pattinson: Alcohol, Dad and Me, 10pm, Channel 4, Tuesday 2nd August: Famous for her time on a number of reality shows, Vicky Pattinson is taking viewers on a personal journey to show the impact alcohol has had on her and her family. Showing a completely new side to the star, it is a very deep and interesting documentary.

Lightyear, 8am, Disney Plus UK, Wednesday 3rd August: Love Toy Story? Well, this new film, which was only released in cinemas a few weeks ago, takes us behind the scenes of how Buzz Lightyear came to be. With a new voice provided by Chris Evans, this is a fun feature for the whole family to enjoy.

All or Nothing: Arsenal, 8am, Prime Video UK, Friday 5th August: The sporting world is taking over our TV screens at the moment and Prime Video is joining in with the action. After looking into how Spurs and NFL teams are managed, the streaming service is now giving audiences an all access viewing of how Arsenal runs.

The Sandman, 8am, Netflix UK, Friday 5th August: This dark new thriller, based on the best-selling books, will keep you hooked to your screens this weekend. Grab the snacks and delve into the darkness. You won’t be disappointed.
