Sports, soap stars and speed are the themes leading the way this week on our screens. With the Super Bowl kicking off the list, get ready to score big points by watching my top five picks this week…

NFL: Super Bowl LVIII, 10:45pm, ITV One, Sunday 11th February: Get the snacks in and prepare for the ultimate night in, as the biggest night in American football has arrived. However, we all know that we are really here for the Half Time Show, which is being hosted by Usher this year!

First Dates: Be My Valentine, 9pm, Channel Four, Tuesday 13th February: With love well and truly in the air, the First Dates restaurant is welcome guests this Valentine’s Day eve to enjoy food, fun and lots of flirting. From social media superstars to unlucky in love seekers, expect your own heart strings to be pulled.

Bring The Drama, 9pm, BBC Two, Wednesday 14th February: Ever wanted to be an actor? Well, in this new series, hosted by Bill Bailey, some lucky hopefuls will be putto the test to see if they can become real life soap stars. All with the help from some very familiar faces.

Alice & Jack, 9pm, Channel Four, Wednesday 14th February: Ending our Valentine’s Day in an unexpected way, this forbidden love series, will put everything you thought you knew about love to the test. Ben though he is married, Jack is conflicted when he gets a request to meet up with his ex. What happens next? Only binge watching the show will tell.

Rob & Romesh Vs. F1: Monaco, 9pm, Sky Max, Thursday 15th February: In the first of this two parter, these two funny men are back and taking on Formula One. With exclusive interviews with Lewis Hamilton and more, expect the unexpected when watching.
