It’s time to get the aprons out lovelies, as the Bake Off is back! Along with it comes a whole host of new shows, five of which making up my must-watch list. Enjoy a slice of these this week…

The Great British Bake Off, 8pm, Channel 4, Tuesday 13th September: We wait all year for the best baking show to come back and now it has. With 12 new contestants on hand to provide all the drama in the tent, we can’t wait to get our hands on this epic slice of TV pie. Or biscuit. Or cake.

Maggie, 8am, Disney Plus UK, Wednesday 14th September: Fresh from Disney Plus, this new comedy will leave many laughing, as a young woman deals with being able to see into the future. A grown up version of That’s So Raven.

Do Revenge, 8am, Netflix UK, Friday 16th September: With comedy shows comes comedy films and Netflix are delving it this week. Getting everyone in the mood for Halloween, this new horror is a high-school hit that will have you in stitches.

Mija, 8am, Disney Plus UK, Friday 16th September: Documentaries are really having a moment and this new feature from Disney will not disappoint. Telling the amazing story of two immigrant sisters, it will have you smiling and crying all in one sitting.

The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice, 8pm, Channel 4, Friday 16th September: The return of the Bake Off brings with it the brilliant talk show, An Extra Slice. Jo Brand is back to host, with contestants and audience members joining her to talk about this week’s tent antics.
