Pressure seems to be the theme of the week for almost all of the shows and films I have picked. However, it doesn’t make these five any less entertaining to watch…

University Challenge, 8:30pm, BBC Two, Monday 17th July: Get your brains fired up for the rest of the week with the return of this hit quiz show. Reading the questions this series is new host Amol Rajan, who looks set to give it a fresh new look.

Dave (Series Three), 8am, Disney Plus UK, Wednesday 19th July: The smash hit comedy is returning for a third trip and this time it is coming to Disney Plus UK. A great boost for the middle of the week.

The Bear (Series Two), 8am, Disney Plus UK, Wednesday 19th July: Probably my favourite TV show at the moment, the series is returning for a second outing. Serving up an already highly praised delight, it has got a 100% rating of Rotten Tomatoes, making it suitably fresh. Prepare snacks for this viewing.

Fifteen - Love, 8am, Prime Video UK, Friday 21st July: With Wimbledon over for another year, the world of tennis is still lighting up our screens. Featuring Aidan Turner and Ella Lily Hyland, the series follows the aftermath of a tennis prodigy’s claims that her former coach wasn’t all that he seemed. This is one to binge on.

They Cloned Tyrone, 8am, Netflix, Friday 21st July: Starring John Boyega and Jamie Foxx, this interesting new feature follows an unlikely trio who are faced with learning about how a dark conspiracy came to be. You won’t be able to look at your neighbours the same.
