The Top Five TV Shows and Films To Watch This Week (13th - 17th September 2021)

Good Morning Everyone! I am here bright and early today to give you the chance to store reminders in your calendars for these new releases before the madness of Monday hits. Full of family affairs, this week really has got something for everyone. Especially on our streaming services. Be prepared for the ultimate binge watch…

Jamie Oliver: Together, 8pm, Channel 4, Monday 13th September: Get the family together and celebrate being reunited if you haven’t done so yet, as Jamie Oliver and his family welcome you into their home with some tasty new recipes. Having just released a new book with them all in, this will inspire all to get more involved in the kitchen.

Jack Whitehall: Travels With My Father, 8am, Netflix, Tuesday 14th September: Another family affair coming to our TV screens. Returning for a fifth and final series, Jack Whitehall and his dad Michael are off on more adventures around the world. Many I am certain will be full of mishaps and inevitable rudeness.

Help, 9pm, Channel 4, Thursday 16th September: Set in a fictional Liverpool care home, this series stars Jodie Comer and Stephen Graham in roles that will be certain to get people talking. Following the moving story of the relationship between a care home worker and her patient, it shows how their lives changed when the coronavirus pandemic hit.

Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, 8am, Amazon Prime Video, Friday 17th September: Based on the real life story of Jamie Campbell and the hit West End musical, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, has been the moment we have all been waiting for. Full of inspiring songs, which will no doubt get stuck in your head, and a powerful story, this is going to be one feature not to miss. Especially with awards season coming up!

Sex Education, 8am, Netflix, Friday 17th September: Finally it is back! Full of mischief and mayhem, the third series of Sex Education lands today. Whether you binge watch it all in one go or gradually over the coming days, I and many can’t wait to see what happens between Oti and co. Just don’t watch this one with your parents in the room.

Let us know what you have been watching and what you are most looking forward to catching over the course of the week, via our social media pages, as we would love to know!
