Our TV screens are hotting up this week, along with the weather, as channel after channel brings thrills, drama and plenty of competition. You are not going to want to miss these five must see TV shows…
The Responder, 9pm, BBC One, Sunday 5th May: Back for a second series, this intense cop drama starring Martin Freeman is about to up its game. With even more chases and thrills to delight our screens, Sunday night TV is about to get good again.
I Kissed A Girl, 9pm, BBC Three, Sunday 5th May/Bank Holiday Monday: After an incredible all-male series, the team behind I Kissed A Boy are back with a female led version. Will the contestants find love? Will there be endless drama? You will have to tune in to see who Dannii Minogue helps get together or split up.
Eurovision Song Contest Semi Finals, 8pm, BBC One, Tuesday 7th May/Thursday 9th May: With the big competition airing on the 11th May, the semi finals are here! Full of incredible electric numbers that will be both equally cheesy and amazing, you won’t be able to stop watching as the acts perform. However, we all know it’s the traditional shouting of, “nil points,” that’s the best bit.
Maxton Hall: The World Between Us, 8am, Prime Video UK, Thursday 9th May: Did you enjoy Gossip Girl? The teenage drama of The OC? Or just really like a bit of a cheesy hit? Well, you are in luck, because this new series, based on the best-selling German books will feed your appetite for such, as a young couple battle the odds to be together whilst at a prestige boarding school.
Double The Money, 8pm, Channel Four, Thursday 9th May: Sue Perkins is back on our screens with this new competition. Contestants must fight to double their money to stay to the very end. By doing so, they can win what they earn. However, not everything is as easy as it seems.
