It is time to get those voices at the ready, because this week’s top five shows and films to watch our going to have you singing their praises. Quite literally in the case of my first choice…

Big Night of Musicals, Out Now, BBC iPlayer, Out Now: Who doesn’t love a musical? Every year, new ones take to our West End, however it is always the classic ones that keep us coming back for me. Stars of stage and screen will be joining host Jason Manford to give us all something we can sing along too.

Great Expectations, 9pm, BBC One, Sunday 26th March: From the creators of Sherlock, this dark new telling of the classic Charles Dickens novel features an all-star cast. Led by Olivia Colman, our Sunday nights have just got a whole lot more exciting.

Tempting Fortune, 9pm, Channel 4, Sunday 26th March: Hosted by Paddy McGuinness, the newest reality show to take to our screens will put contestants to the test every night this week. Taking on the South African desert, those on the show don’t know what they have signed up for.

Blue Lights, 9pm, BBC One, Monday 27th March: Following Belfast’s newest police members, this series will have you feeling all the feels. One minute you will be laughing at their mishaps and the next crying at the consequences from them.

The Power, 8am, Prime Video UK, Friday 31st March: Based on the best-selling book, this new series starring Toni Colette is one that has to be binged over the weekend. Gripping plot twists and fantastic acting lead the way in Prime Video’s latest original.
