Awards, action and amazement are the key themes on our screens this week! From incredible true stories to thrill seeking viewings, you won’t be able to get enough of my top five must-see shows…

BAFTA Film Awards 2024, 7pm, BBC One, Sunday 18th February: The stars will be out in full tonight, as the biggest film awards show in the UK takes place. Will Barbie or Oppenheimer come out on top? You will have to watch to find out!

Breathtaking, 9pm, ITV1/ITVX, Monday 19th February: Telling the incredible stories from those who were on the front line during the pandemic, this is a harrowing watch. Be prepared t9 be extra thankful to our amazing NHS services after seeing it.

The Way, 9pm, BBC One, Monday 19th February: Drama is leading the way on our TV screens, as this new series by Michael Sheen, follows the families in the aftermath of a number of riots. Set in Port Talbot, it will keep you guessing right up until the end.

Love Island All Stars, 9pm, ITV2/ITVX, Monday 19th February: If you have been watch for the past six weeks then you know that the villa has kept us guessing. It all leads down to tonight though, as the couples face the final. Who will win? It’s time to decide!

Avatar: The Last Airbender, 8am, Netflix, Thursday 22nd February: One for the whole family, this new live-action adaptation of the hit show and film franchise, is going to be a hit all weekend. Whether you watched the original or introducing little ones to it, be prepared to be entertained.
