Good Day Everyone! This week, the world of TV and film is being dominated by our streaming services. Fresh, fun and full of mystery, the darkness of October is in full swing with my top five picks that you simple can’t miss. Be prepared with a cushion when watching this collection…

The Outsiders, 8am, YouTube, Monday 4th October: Many of us turn to YouTube for entertainment and it seems the streaming service is using this to help highlight important matters. Celebrating the lives of black people, they have created a new series looking into how some of our favourite faces came to be. Very interesting and insightful.

Murder Island, 9:30pm, Channel 4, Tuesday 5th October: How would you deal with trying to find the murderer in a big case? Well, this new show would help you find out. Using ordinary members of the public, an investigative team, is setting them up with a murder case that they have to solve. If they do so, they will win some big money.

Baking Impossible, 8am, Netflix, Wednesday 6th October: After the hugely successful return of The Great British Bake Off, Netflix have created a rival competition. With contestants fighting to be not only the winners but for the chance to win some big cash. £100,000 to be precise.

Black Widow, 8am, Disney Plus UK, Wednesday 6th October: Black Widow didn’t appear to be in cinemas for very long, so it has been a hugely successful feature for Disney Plus’ Premier Access. Yet, it is now available to enjoy for free on Disney+ in the UK, as of today. Just in time to inspire us all this Halloween.

Muppets Haunted Mansion, 8am, Disney Plus UK, Friday 8th October: It may only have just turned into October but it seems that the world has already gone Halloween mad. Returning for a spooky new story is The Muppets, who are bake being spooked by the famous Haunted Mansion. A ride everyone visiting a Disney park should go on.
