Make sure you get down to intu Watford to kick off Christmas in style and don’t miss your chance to meet Santa in his magical grotto!
The Christmas lights are now on so it's officially the start of the festive season at intu Watford! The annual switch on brought lots of free family fun and appearances from Watford Palace Panto characters, Santa & his elves and Watford FC players, plus performances by Watford Rock Choir, Pump House Theatre and Watford’s Pauline Quirk Academy. The winner of intu Watford's Christmas Star search, 10 year old Brooke Cornwell, pressed the big red button to officially light up the centre and kick off an amazing firework display.
Santa and his elves also popped by to say hello before they officially opened Santa’s grotto after and bookings are now open to meet the man himself! It costs £3.00 per child and not only will you take home a gift-wrapped present from the man himself, but you can even have a go at building a snowman in the interactive grotto whilst you wait to see him. (The grotto is just around the corner from Clas Ohlson).
