Bushey and Watford PHAB (Physically Handicapped Abled Bodied) are looking for new members for their weekly group meetings.
The group, whose weekly sessions take place at Centrepoint Community Centre (Raphael Drive, Watford WD24 4GY), are inviting people with and without disabilities to join them. This unique community group promotes the breaking down of community barriers, reducing social isolation, and creating opportunities for disabled people to enjoy the same activities and challenges as, and alongside, those without a disability.
Anyone from Watford and the surrounding areas are welcome. Members have fun participating in integrated sport and inclusive art as well as ten pin bowling, club night social games with opportunities to get involved with fundraising activities. There is a variety of activities that take place at the centre each Wednesday from 7pm to 9pm except the last Wednesday each month when the group meet for a social evening.
