It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at intu Watford!

There’s only one place to do your Christmas shopping this year, and that’s the new-look, bigger and better intu Watford.

intu Watford is bringing festive cheer, joy and plenty of goodies for shoppers this Christmas with more shops, restaurants and goodies galore.

To kick off the season of festivities, join thousands of people for a stunningly spectacular Christmas Light Switch On, Thursday 15th November from 4pm. Presenter & DJ Chris Stark will be joined by players from Watford FC, The Palace Theatre Panto Cast, Santa and special guests to press the plunger.

Families are invited to join the celebrations that will see a host of entertainment, roaming acts, family fun and treats starting from 4pm. Then the finale from 6pm is when the countdown begins on the bridge outside John Lewis and ends with the light switch on and a stunning firework display over the centre’s roof.

It’s expected to be the biggest Christmas in Watford thanks for the now-open £180m development, packed with Debenhams, H&M, New Look, Superdry, Jack Wills, YoSushi! and much more for all to enjoy.

If something catches your eye, get your lists at the ready as Santa is waiting in his grotto from Friday 23rd November all the way up to Christmas Eve. Plus, getting into the centre is even easier, with more car parking than ever before and from December 3rd it’s FREE after 6pm!

intu’s stunning mall refurbishment has made the entire centre look spectacular and, with additional festive decorations, it will be transformed into a sparkling winter wonderland that will fill you – and your family – with a warm Christmas spirit. Santa’s also bringing a new nine-screen IMAX Cineworld cinema and Hollywood Bowl to Watford – we told you it would be the best Christmas ever!
