Join St Audrey’s care home for a coffee & cake open morning held at the care home on Tuesday 25 June.
St Audrey’s care home will open its doors in support of Care Home Open Week from 24 – 30 June from 10.30 until 12.00. Residents are encouraged to join them for coffee and cake on 24 June.
The event is run by national charity Ambient Support and is organised by Championing Social Care to connect care homes across the country with their local community.
The idea of finding care for elderly relatives can be daunting for a lot of people. This relaxed open week at St Audrey's aims to provide an opportunity to highlight the vital role that carers play in society and for recognising the significance of social care. It will give local residents a chance to ask questions, get to know the staff, and learn about the services offered.
Rob Hunt, Head of Older People’s Services at Ambient Support, says:“Care Home Open Week is an incredibly important initiative as it opens social care up to the wider community and shines a light on the amazing work staff provide to improve the lives of the people they support.”
St Audrey’s Care Home is on Church Street, Old Hatfield, Hertfordshire, AL9 5AR
